Ljubljana, 27 June - The anniversary of an independent state should be a happy event. After long centuries, Slovenians can finally walk their own path. But there were many attempts of the post-communist forces to prevent this and make the country only appear independent while being stuck in a loose Yugoslav federation, weekly Demokracija says on Thursday.
