Committee Reduces Fines for Illegal Loggers

Ljubljana, 27 June - The parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, Forestry, Food and the Environment has okayed government changes to the act on forest which are designed to boost traceability of wood and prevent illegal logging. The committee however reduced the associated fines, which they said were too high.
