VAT Rates Up as Part of Crisis Measures
Ljubljana, 1 July - Slovenia's value added tax rates increased at midnight on Monday as part of the government's measures to balance public finances. The standard VAT rate increased from 20% to 22% while the reduced rate rose from 8.5% to 9.5%.
