Number of Unemployed Drops in January

Ljubljana, 21 February - SLOVENIA/EMPLOYMENT/JANUARY
After a period of growing unemployment rate in Slovenia, which lasted from June 1995, January saw a slight decrease of the number of unemployed. There were 125,653 unemployed registered at the National Employment Office end January, a 0.9 percent decrease over the previous month.
