56 Kilometres of New Motorways To Be Opened This Year

Building of Slovene motorways will be carried on on seven sections or 97.5 kilometres this year, of which 56 kilometres of new motorways will be opened within this year: a 21-kilometre four-lane section between Šentilj and Pesnica and Selo and Šempeter, and 35-kilometre additional two lanes to the existing two-lane motorway between Hoče and Arja vas are to be opened, Lado Prah, Deputy Chairman of the Slovene Company for Motorways (DARS), told in a presentation of the exercising the national motorway building programme Thursday.
