Premier Drnovšek Receives Letter by U.S. President

Slovene Premier Janez Drnovšek received Tuesday a letter by United States President Bill Clinton, who thinks highly of Slovene cooperation concerning IFOR's transition over Slovene territory, and at the same time expresses his congratulations to Premier Drnovšek and to all the Slovenes on the model example of conducting policy after the break-up of the former Yugoslavia. Clinton emphasizes it has been its allegiance to peace and democracy which has won Slovenia numerous friends worldwide, the office of the Slovene premier reported Tuesday.
