Wood Traceability Documents Required as of Today

Ljubljana, 2 September - Slovenian loggers are obligated to respect new wood traceability measures as of Monday or face high fines. The changes to the forestry act, which aim to crack down on illegal trade in the wood sector, have been heavily criticised, with the opposition launching a constitutional review to block the measures in mid August.
