Slovenia's Banks Generate EUR 215M Loss in H1

Ljubljana, 2 September - Slovenian banks generated a EUR 242.7m loss before tax in the first half of the year, while net loss amounted to EUR 215.6m. Last year, banks posted a EUR 19m profit before tax in the first half of the year and EUR 24.4m in net loss. Reservations and impairments meanwhile increased by 10.1% to EUR 467.1m year-on-year.
