Foreign Minister Zoran Thaler on Spain's Compromise Proposal on Association Agreement Conclusion

The Slovene national television TVS Tuesday presented Spains' compromise proposal, originating from 1995, on how Slovenia could remove obstacles and sign the association agreement with the European Union (EU). This document was said to include a bilateral agreement between Slovenia and Italy as a condition for the conclusion of the association agreement, according to TVS. Commenting the television report for TVS Wednesday evening, Slovene Foreign Minister Zoran Thaler said that this document was a draft proposal of Spain on the possibilities to sign the association agreement.
