Dnevnik Sees Passive Electorate Undermining Steinbrück's Chances

Ljubljana, 3 September - The German televised election debate had no clear winner and while Peer Steinbrück of the SocDems managed to convince a few more undecided voters than Chancellor Angel Merkel, polls show the latter is still 16 percentage points ahead, the daily Dnevnik says in a commentary on Tuesday.
