Slovenia Endorses Russian Proposal on Syria

Ljubljana, 10 September - Slovenia voiced support for the proposal by Russia that the Syrian regime hand over its stockpile of chemical weapons. Slovenia "supports all diplomatic initiatives for a political treatment" of the issue and "sees Russia's initiative in that light", the Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.
