Unions Suggest Tax Wedge Not Reason for Companies' Woes
Ljubljana, 13 September - As businesses make impassioned appeals to the government to reduce the tax burden and ease labour laws in order to give them "breathing space", trade unions cite official statistics suggesting that lower taxes have not led to productive investment in the past, while a lot of money has been spent on takeovers.
