Part of German-Speaking Community Reiterates Minority Status Demand

Ljubljana, 12 September - A part of the German-speaking community in Slovenia reiterated Thursday its demand to be given ethnic minority status. "We have been eradicated," said Veronika Haring, the head of the community's Association Cultural Societies, arguing that this cannot be a reason for Slovenia's refusal to recognise the minority.
