Greenhouse Gas Emissions up in 2011

Ljubljana, 15 September - Despite the economic downturn, Slovenia's emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) rose 1.5% to 16.9 million tonnes in 2011, with the emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) up by 1.8% to 56,100 tonnes, according to figures released by the Statistics Office.
