MEP Peterle Expects Slovenia Will Need to Ask for Bailout

Ljubljana, 19 September - MEP Lojze Peterle (NSi/EPP) feels that given the developments so far, it is "hard to imagine a way forward without financial aid" for Slovenia. He rejected for the press in Ljubljana views that Brussels is to blame for the poor situation in the country, arguing that the EU is Slovenia's ally and that the troika only comes upon invitation.
