Governor Defends Decision to Liquidate Two Private Banks
Ljubljana, 20 September - Banka Slovenije Governor Boštjan Jazbec defended the central bank's decision to launch supervised liquidation of small private banks Probanka and Factor banka in parliament on Friday, saying that this was necessary to prevent the collapse of the entire banking system.
