Žurnal24 Says Prosecutors Should Get Higher Salaries

Ljubljana, 26 September - The daily Žurnal24 criticises the government on Thursday for failing to provide more funds for the prosecution. "The government announced sharper fight against crime. But it does not want to pay." Low salaries of prosecutors compared to those of lawyers have led to many prosecutors changing sides, the paper observes.
