New Chancellor Wants to Connect University with Companies

Ljubljana, 30 September - New Ljubljana University Chancellor Ivan Svetlik was inaugurated in a ceremony on Monday, taking over from predecessor Stanislav Pejovnik. Svetlik said in his address that he would strive to preserve the university's reputation and its autonomy. He believes a closer cooperation is needed between the university and companies.
