Slovene Press on Suicide Bombing in Tel Aviv
Ljubljana, 5 March - Reports on suicide bombing in Tel Aviv Monday made the front pages of Slovene newspapers. The attack is also the topic of major commentaries and analyses. In an article entitled "No Alterative to Peace Process" Primorski dnevnik stresses that two consecutive suicide terrorist attacks in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem present a great danger to peace process. Intended to slow down the process of reconciliation between Israelis and Palestinians, bloodshed is also welcomed by Israeli right-wing parties, which in case they win the elections, would delay or even terminate the peace process. Responsible for finding the solution to this vicious circle is Yasser Arafat, who has to convince his people not to back up the bombers.
