Average Slovenian Produces Almost 1 Kg of Waste per Day

Ljubljana, 8 October - The average Slovenian produced 327 kilograms of communal waste in 2012 or about 0.9 kilo a day, which is 7% less than in 2011. In total, 4.4 million tonnes of waste were generated in Slovenia, down 33% year-on-year due to a reduction in construction waste and reclassification of some waste into by-products.
