Govt Adopts Parental Care Bill, Gives Up Mandatory Paternity Leave

Ljubljana, 10 October - The government adopted on Thursday a reformed parental care and family benefits bill which notably replaces the originally planned mandatory 30-day paternity leave with 15 extra days of paid leave for fathers, effectively prolonging the total parental leave by 15 days.
