SIT 431 Million Tolars for Settlement to Croat Pensionsers

The National Assembly adopted at an emergency session Wednesday a proposition for an act on using the current budget reserves to pay health care contributions for pensioners of the Retirement and Disability Fund of Slovenia with a permanent residence in Croatia, which ensured SIT 431,448,110 (approximately US$ 3 million) for the settlement of the due liabilities arising from the period from 1 April, 1992, until 31 March, 1994. These are health insurance contributions for 9,326 Croat pensioners.
