Increased Taxes for Used Car Imports

Ljubljana, 7 March - Members of the National Assembly endorsed an amended Law on Sales Tax, filling a legal gap after a new customs legislation came into force in the area of import duties for used cars, and preventing any further misuses or tax evasions in the sales of alcohol and soft drinks. The amended law was adopted Thursday at a two-day extraordinary session of Slovene parliament.
