Govt Clamps Down on Illegal Sale of Wine

Ljubljana, 23 October - The government expanded on Wednesday the powers of inspectors and stiffened fines for illegal sale of wine and unregistered wine producers. The move comes after the Wine Association complained that only 23 million litres of wine out of a total of 83 millions are sold legally in Slovenia each year.
