Nedelo: Direct Vote Preferred by Slovenes

Nearly one half of Slovenes would prefer to vote parliament members at direct elections, according to a telephone public opinion poll, published in Nedelo Sunday. Asked what electoral system they find the most suitable, 45.7 per cent of the polled opted for a system where an individual candidate, a concrete person was elected.
