Crime Office Brought 314 Charges Due to Illegal Privatization

Ljubljana, 12 March - CRIMINAL/PRIVATIZATION
A Crime Office of the Ministry of Interior begun dealing with illegal privatization of Slovene companies in 1990. By the end of last year, the Office submitted to state prosecutors 314 charges prompted by suspicion of different criminal offences, with the total value of damages amounting to SIT 9.1 billion (US$ 67 million), Head of the Economic Crime Office Jaka Demšar told a news conference Tuesday.
