President Kučan Addresses Bulgarian Parliament

Sofia, 13 March - SLOVENIA/BULGARIA/KUČAN
        Slovene President Milan Kučan Wednesday addressed the 240-member Bulgarian National Assembly with the socialist party (former communists) majority. President Kučan said that it was not long since Slovenia was part of the former Yugoslavia, a neighbor of Bulgaria. Mr Kučan added that the former Yugoslavia had disintegrated since it had not been based on the prime elements of uniting population of a democratic country: human rights respect, equality of ethnic groups and republics, effective common institutions, successful market economy and common goals.
