Debt of Slovenia's Municipalities at EUR 837M in 2012

Ljubljana, 8 January - The total debt of Slovenia's municipalities has been increasing for years. At the end of 2012 the debt of the country's 211 municipalities amounted to EUR 836.7m, 3.9% more than a year before, a report by the Finance Ministry shows. If divided among Slovenia's 2 million residents, each would have to repay EUR 409.
