Presentation of Phare Democracy Program

Ljubljana, 19 March - PHARE/TACIS/PROGRAM/DEMOKRACY
Representative of the European Human Rights Foundation Ivan Fiala presented Tuesday the Phare Democracy Program, introduced by the European Commission in 1992 as a form of support to economic and political reforms in Central and Eastern European Countries adn successors to former Soviet Union. In the framework of Monetary Aid Phare and Tacis programs, four micro-projects are to conclude shortly in Slovenia, while several macro-projects are currently underway, whose executors or local partners are various non-government or non-profit oriented organizations and institutions.
