Weekly Review of Slovene Economy between 16 through 23 March
Ljubljana, 23 March - In the past week, the National Assembly adopted the Law on Tax Service which is together with a future endorsement of a law on tax procedure to provide a new basis for the Slovene tax system; the Government also prepared the guidelines for a new round of negotiations with other members of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA). At its regular weekly session, the Government decided to provide additional capital for Novo mesto based car producer Revoz, and was informed on the situation in company Cimos International from Koper. The board of managers of Maribor based company TAM, after TAM's managing director Janez Lah on Monday "took refuge in a foreign country", on Wednesday appointed a new management directed by Jože Lukarič.
