Review of Slovene Press

Ljubljana, 23 March - Daily Delo in its Saturday issue comments on a meeting between Slovene and German Foreign Ministers, Zoran Thaler and Klaus Kinkel, that took place on 21 March in Stuttgart. The daily stresses that "German Foreign Minister Kinkel had never before after any meeting with Mr Thaler on his own initiative given so blunt an assurance that regarding Slovenia's approaching the European Union 'something must happen now'".
