Tax Reform for Equal Economic Cooperation and Competition

The Slovene tax reform set off together with efforts for gaining independence at the turn of decade, entering the final phase last week, when the Parliament endorsed new legislation on tax service and tax procedure. The new tax service is to start its operations as early as in mid-summer, while the law on tax procedure is to enter into force in mid-summer, after the basis of the new fiscal system has been fully established. The tax reform will facilitate equal cooperation with other countries and creating comparative advantages of Slovene economy.
