Committee on International Relations Supports Government's Foreign Policy Guidelines Proposal; Rejects Spanish Proposal
Ljubljana, 29 March - PARLIAMENT/COMMITTEE/INTERNATIONAL/RELATIONS
At a meeting Friday, the Parliamentary Committee on International Relations (OMO) estimated the Government's proposal on foreign policy guidelines (currently in first reading in Parliament) to be a suitable basis for further parliamentary discussion. In the second part of the meeting, OMO discussed Government's views and resolutions on Slovenia's relations with the EU, Italy and NATO and did not change substantially its views and resolutions adopted at a previous meeting. Both above mentioned documents-to-be will be discussed by the Parliament on Thursday, when the Parliament is scheduled to continue its emergency session.
