Schulz Urges End to "Spiral that Turns Bank Debt Into State Debt"

Ljubljana, 14 March - European Parliament President Martin Schulz stressed in an address to the Slovenian parliament on Friday the need to restore people's trust in the EU, notably also by "breaking the dramatic spiral that turns bank debt into state debt". He also took the opportunity to urge dialogue in Ukraine, saying that "people who talk do not shoot each other".
