Ex-Maribor Mayor No Longer National Councillor

Ljubljana, 19 March - The National Council decided in a 19:16 vote on Wednesday that ex-Maribor Mayor Franc Kangler would lose his seat in the council following a seven-months prison sentence. Kangler was recently found guilty of abuse of office, unlawful intervention and forgery of documents in assigning a city apartment to a fortune teller.
