SKI JUMPING: Takanashi Leads after First Round

Planica, 22 March - World Cup leader Sara Takanashi of Japan completed the longest jump (135m) in the first round of FIS Ladies World Cup competition on the large hill in Planica (NW) on Saturday. Second is her team mate Yuki Ito with 128.5m, followed by Julia Clair of France, who jumped 131.5m but received fewer points for form and wind compensation.
