SKI JUMPING: Overall Winner Takanashi Wins Planica Ladies Final

Planica, 22 March - Japan's Sara Takanashi won the women's FIS World Cup competition in Planica on Saturday, also claiming the crystal globe. At 132.5m Takanashi's second jump was slightly shorter than the first. Second place was claimed by her team mate Yuki Ito, who managed a distance of 125m in the second round, while Julia Claire of France was third with 124m.
