Slovenia Commemorates Crew of US Bomber Crashed in WWII

Polzela, 22 March - A plaque was unveiled in the village of Andraž near Polzela (E) on Saturday to commemorate the crew of a US bomber that crashed there 70 years ago. The B-17 was on its way from a military base in Italy to bomb a Steyer plant in Carinthia, Austria that made equipment for the Nazi forces.
