Almost Decade of Attempts to Introduce Real Estate Tax

Ljubljana, 28 March - Ideas to introduce a uniform tax on real estate have been harboured by several governments in a bid to boost budget revenue, with the incumbent government of Alenka Bratušek being the third to have undertaken this task. A legal framework for the new tax was set down back in 2006.
