Peterle Ventures into Minsk: Agreements on Further Development of the Slovenian/Byelorussian Economic Cooperation

Further economic development between Slovenia and Byelorussia was one of the main topics of today's talks between the Slovenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lojze Peterle, and the State Secretary to the Ministry of Economic Relations and Development, Vojka Ravbar, and high-level Byelorussian officials in Minsk. Extensive talks were held in a friendly atmosphere. Both sides put special emphasis on further cooperation, established 15 years ago, when both states were still republics of other countries. Also discussed were cooperation of both states in international institutions and the Balkan crisis.
