Slovenia Considering Leaving Initiative for Financial Transactions Tax

Brussels, 6 May - Slovenia did not join the statement on the introduction of a tax on financial transactions in 2016, which was signed by ten EU member states in Brussels on Tuesday. While Slovenia initially supported the initiative, Finance Minister Uroš Čufer said the economic logic behind was no longer viable.
