Slovenia Focusing on Alternative Forms of Special Care

Brdo pri Kranju, 6 May - Slovenia plans to 'de-institutionalise' its system of care for the elderly, the disabled and people with special needs. An international conference heard on Tuesday that Slovenia developed a very good system of institutions, while the development of alternative forms of care had been sidetracked.
