Weekly Review of Events Involving Slovenia, 9-15 May

Ljubljana, 16 May - President Borut Pahor decided not to propose a PM-designate to parliament, cutting short the 30-day period in which the president is allowed to propose a candidate. He based his decision on the talks with deputy groups, a majority of which want a snap election to be held as soon as possible. The most likely date is 13 July.
