Initiative to Change Procedure to Appoint EU Commissioner Doomed

Ljubljana, 19 May - The initiative of the opposition New Slovenia (NSi) proposing that the party which wins the EU election be given the power to propose Slovenia's European commissioner seems to be doomed as both the outgoing PM Alenka Bratušek and President Borut Pahor have rejected it in principle.
