Slovenian Banks Post EUR 57.4M Profit after Tax in Q1
Ljubljana, 28 May - Slovenian banks posted a total of EUR 57.4m in profit after tax in the first quarter of 2014, which is a significant improvement on the EUR 4.1m profit in the same period last year. Net impairments and provisions reached EUR 90.4m, down 13.5% year-on-year, according to a report released by the central bank on Wednesday.
