Matthews Wins First Stage of 2014 Tour of Slovenia

Ljubljana, 19 June - Michael Matthews of Australia won the first stage of the 21st Tour of Slovenia. The winner, who competes for Orice GreenEDGE, was six seconds faster on the 8.8-km time trial track in Ljubljana on Thursday than Slovenia's Kristijan Koren (Italian team Cannondale), while Italy's Diego Ulissi (team Lampre) was third.
