PM Tells NLB to Think of Jobs in Weighing Mercator Sale

Kranj, 23 June - Outgoing PM Alenka Bratušek urged the state-owned NLB bank on Monday to consider with "full responsibility" all the ramifications of the sale of retailer Mercator, above all the 30,000 jobs indirectly involved. NLB chairman Janko Medja responded by reminding the government of committments regarding NLB made to the European Commission.
