Pressure Mounting Against Mercator Sale, Bratušek Gets Assurances

Ljubljana, 24 June - A parliamentary committee and two key cabinet ministers expressed reservations or criticism on Tuesday about the pending sale of retailer Mercator. PM Alenka Bratušek moreover met the officials of NLB, the state-owned bank that is a key seller, announcing she had received a few assurances related to the sale, including on the protection of jobs.
