Velenje Miners on Strike Again, Talks to Continue Wednesday

Velenje, 1 July - Some 300 miners in the Premogovnik Velenje mine went on strike late on Monday for the second time this year after they had not received holiday bonuses guaranteed in their collective labour agreements. They were joined by an additional 600 miners by Tuesday evening. Negotiations were launched immediately but have so far failed to produce results.
