EU Commission Not Budging on Frozen Funding for Slovenia
Ljubljana, 3 July - The European Commission has not accepted Slovenia's appeal against the decision to freeze EU funding for the country over shortcomings in public contracting and project oversight. The amount of funding which has been halted has risen from the initial EUR 185m to EUR 354m, according to the government.
